Our client is hiring a Senior Social Media Specialist. The Senior Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing and measuring social media programs and campaigns that drive awareness and engagement and support demand generation. The role will also help ensure and help maintain a strong brand reputation and presence online. 

The Role:

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to develop and manage social media content that will inspire, inform and educate the medical provider community and company employees.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to communicate stories of interest from across the company on social channels.

  • Monitor and protect the company’s brand by reviewing and responding to online reviews on social media, product review sites and app stores, and take strategic action when necessary to improve the company brand's image

  • Proactively identify opportunities to interact with followers by responding to questions and joining in relevant conversations.

  • Manage and keep up-to-date the social media calendar and plan content for upcoming marketing campaigns and activations as well as company news, events and milestones.

  • Measure the success of social media content; build reports and evangelize success metrics with key stakeholders.

  • Set annual goals, measure program success and provide strategic guidance for areas of improvement.

  • Attend conferences and company events and identify opportunities to create social content.

  • Work with the marketing manager and creative team to ensure quality content and timely delivery.

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

  • Help manage the agency team to drive overall program success.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required.

  • 4+ years experience in social media content creation and platform management

  • Strong experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social platforms

  • Experience with metrics reporting and analysis for continuous improvement

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present plans/ideas

  • Experience with social publishing and listening tools

  • Experience with content creation: video, gif, infographic, blog, etc

  • Ability to handle multiple projects/work streams and adapt to a constantly changing environment

  • Superior organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask

  • Experience working as an integral member of a high performing team
