This role focuses on showcasing and supporting the company’s products/programs/services by helping to build broader awareness. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing communications professional who’s creative, highly organized, motivated, skilled at storytelling, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate with all levels within and outside of our organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Write and edit new and existing creative content pieces that drive awareness, inform and educate, and engage target audiences such as health plans, members, consumers, brokers, and providers

  • Collaborate with members of the Sales and Marketing teams to develop compelling communications that drive demand and generate leads

  • Demonstrate thought leadership by developing white papers, articles, blogs, scripts, speeches and more

  • Review, edit and offer recommendations on content produced by other team members or freelancers

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar that considers unique strategies for targeting various audiences while driving content creation for web, social, video, email, and more

  • Introduce a PR platform to monitor brand engagement, target media representatives, and amplify our brand in the industry

  • Develop knowledge and expertise required to generate compelling and action-oriented messaging for each target audience in order to differentiate our company’s brand

  • Drive interest and demand in the company’s products/programs/services by developing new sales tools/assets and enhance existing collateral (i.e., sales slicks, flyers, brochures, PowerPoints, etc.) to help move prospects through the sales funnel

  • Write and produce the monthly company newsletter for electronic distribution

  • Analyze content marketing metrics and strive to improve the efficacy of your work and that of others

  • Collaborate with team members across the organization to grow audience bases, optimize campaign effectiveness, drive engagement, and build customer loyalty

  • Partner with in-house subject matter experts to execute, and ensure all communications are produced accurately and align with brand strategy

  • Analyze performance of campaigns and effectively solve problems, present solutions and resolve conflicts—whether those solutions are in existing systems or need to be developed

  • Undertake other ad-hoc related responsibilities, as required

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 5+ years related marketing communications or PR experience

  • Previous healthcare experience desired

  • Previous strategic marketing, product marketing, marketing communications or a focus in journalism is strongly favored

  • Solid understanding of lead distribution strategies, multiple marketing channels and marketing analytics required

  • The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Must be able to consistently meet deadlines and work in a cross-functional capacity

Additional Notes

This position requires thinking outside the box and a strong understanding and enthusiasm for how content is consumed. A positive, can-do attitude is paramount and the ability to take direction and interact productively during brainstorming sessions is expected. This position may require other duties not mentioned above. Individuals may be responsible for other administrative tasks or be required to assist with other roles/departments as needed.
