An interior design firm is looking for an Help Desk / IT Support Manager with at least 2-3 years experience to oversee all west coast operations (3 offices - San Francisco, LA and Portland).
Candidates are highly preferred to have a working knowledge of Revit and AutoCad.
The position can develop based on the candidates growth, pro-activeness and knowledge of the industry.
Individual must possess the following skillsets:
Image computers and setup workstations
Set up/configure/test and troubleshoot all end-user desktop/laptop hardware, software, and peripherals
Install/maintain/support software applications, such as Microsoft Office, Autodesk Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud.
Coordinate repair of equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements.
Configure/diagnose/identify/resolve hardware, software and printing issues.
Diagnose/resolve Internet, wireless, VPN and other connectivity issues.
Maintain hardware and software inventory.
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
Troubleshoot basic print and plotter issues
Ensure computer operating systems, drivers, and end-user software is up to date.
Ability to think outside a typical IT Help desk position
Ability to look “big-picture” at existing IT process to progress the company
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
Revit and AutoCadd
Good analytical/problem solving/communication skills
Ability and willingness to learn/support new systems/technologies
Excellent record keeping organization and attention to detail required
Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, ActiveSync, PC's, printers and related office equipment
Knowledge of Windows Operating System, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10
Experience/Familiarity with active directory
Experience with troubleshooting network connections and devices
Experience with troubleshooting common network printers and printing issues
Additional Knowledge that is highly preferable
ITIL or A+ Certification
Solid Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Problem Solver with Ability to Multi-task
