Director of Account Management

The Director of Account Management leads and oversees the daily activities of the Account Management Department. He/she expands and maintains relationships with strategically important club and resort partners. The Director of Account Management is responsible for assigned strategic account targets and sales quota.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

·       Oversee the Account Management Department in assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on a regular basis

·       Develop solutions that best address customer needs while simultaneously coordinating the involvement of the necessary personnel inclusive of support, sale, and marketing in order to meet key account performance objectives and the customers’ expectations

·       Develop relationships with key account contacts in order to ensure that the business receives constant leads on potential new partnerships

·       Gather data from his/her own initiatives and from the account managers analyze it, and create formal reports and presentations that will be used collaboratively with the Director of Sales in formulating decisions and strategies

·       Proactively lead the strategic account planning processes and develop performance objectives, sales targets, and critical milestones on a weekly/monthly/annual basis

·       Measures the department’s performance, weighing it against the organization’s targets and KPIs and identify areas of improvement for strategic development of the business

·       Determine financial requirements for the department and assist in developing internal budgetary allocations


Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a similar field

  • 5+ years working experience in Sales or Account Management, golf industry preferred

·       Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce and Excel

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and communicate multiple projects across the organization

  • Highly collaborative and detail-oriented, with a focus on project management

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 based on experience
