Our client in Chicago, IL (an award-winning data science consultancy with national brand experience) is looking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager to execute and lead client projects and monthly services, all while developing processing and gating our cient for future growth. The Digital Marketing Manager will:

  • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing programs, including but not limited to digital and social advertising, search marketing (SEO/SEM), email marketing campaigns, and website development, that directly align with client business objectives.

  • Excel at creating deliverables including monthly client reporting, National/Local SEO performance, A/B tests, email campaigns, data collection initiatives, etc.

  • Assist in the development of departmental processes and protocols as it pertains to digital marketing execution.

  • Provide ongoing strategic consultation and education to internal teams (account managers and internal operations specialists) around the opportunity and impact of digital marketing efforts.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously evolve best practices for digital media campaign management

  • Keep informed of industry activities as well as new digital strategies, resources, opportunities, and techniques. Drive innovation in a “test and learn” culture.

  • Manage a distributed team (in-person and remote) of analysts, SEO operators, and our client’s intern team


  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, with a history of providing strategic direction and hands-on implementation

  • 1+ years of digital marketing experience in a management-focused role

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or statistics-related field. MBA or Master’s degree is a plus

  • Advanced understanding of digital advertising (local search, national search, online advertising, website analytics, multivariate testing, email marketing, data collection, etc.) trends, developments, and technologies and the ability to leverage this knowledge to execute initiatives from start-to-finish and manage others to do the same

  • Record of working successfully across multiple functions in a highly collaborative environment

  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence others to achieve a strategic vision

  • Experience effectively presenting information to and responding to questions from all levels of the organization

  • Has a successful track record of project and people management

  • Exhibits meticulous organizational skills

  • Has excellent communication skills
