5 Hiring Trends To Watch In 2019 | Company Filling Positions Boca Raton

Are you a company filling positions in Boca Raton? Is your goal for 2019 to build out your teams? If you want the best workers this year, here are the top 5 hiring trends we at Sloane Staffing predict for 2019.

  1. Build A Talent Pool. A talent pool is a group of highly-qualified candidates who are interested in working for your company. This will ensure you always have access to candidate’s updated resumes. Read more about how to create one here.

  2. Streamline Your Application Process. Quality candidates will drop out of your application process if it’s too long and confusing. Save the questions for the in-person interview, getting them in the door is most important. Make it easy for them to apply for jobs. Nowadays, people don’t want to fill out pages and pages of application forms. They want fast results and to be able to apply for jobs on the move. Make sure they are able to apply for your jobs on their mobile devices.

  3. Candidates Are No Longer Hired Based Off Of Their Degrees. Times have changed. In some cases, experience is preferred over an actual degree. One survey found that 45.8% of hiring professionals measure success on candidate experience. Take that into consideration.

  4. Use Social Media As A Recruiting Tool. With LinkedIn and LinkedIn recruiter being the obvious ones, social media is a great way to attract good candidates. We pick up a lot of talent through both LinkedIn and Facebook.

  5. Target Passive Candidates. One of the biggest trends we see is that the best candidates are not always necessarily open to new opportunities. However, once we explain the position and the benefits of the new job, they start to see it as their next role. Hire a staffing agency to help you sell these top candidates. Try re-targeting with an email campaign.

Why Getting The Right Customer Service Representatives Is Important For Your Business | Employ South Florida

As we employ South Florida here at Sloane Staffing, one of the roles we often see filled too early is the customer service role. Although this role tends to be a lower salaried position, it is of the utmost importance that hiring managers and companies follow through with the same thorough hiring process as any other position. If you don’t have time to follow through on this process, it might behoove you to reach out to a staffing agency to have a recruiter help you. Your customer service team members are the first employees your clients interact with. They are the first impression of your company to the world. It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in, you need a good quality customer service team. And in times of need, your customers depend on you for service. With an emphasis on customer service, you gain a competitive advantage on your customer. There are also financial incentives for providing outstanding customer service. Store support estimates it costs at least six times more to gain a new customer than to retain one you already have. The best customer service also builds trust. People will stay loyal to you and repeat buy if they have a good experience. To get the best experience for your clients, you may have to pay a little bit more to hire the best customer service reps. But we promise you, this will be better in the end, resulting in es turn over and hires. In addition, poor customer service can lead to bad reviews online, which you never want! Word of mouth is so important. Without your customers, you wouldn’t have a business! So treat them the best possible way you can, with their first interaction with your company being the best one.

Staffing Predictions for 2019 | Staffing Delray Beach

Recruitment trends and predictions for this upcoming year have already been made, and here at Sloane Staffing, a staffing firm in Delray Beach, we are taking note. It has been predicted that the following will be common resources for staffing in the year 2019:

  • Mobile Recruitment: More and more candidates are using their phones and tablets to look for and apply for jobs. According to Glassdoor, 89% of candidates use mobile platforms to search for jobs. Companies should work to make it easier for candidates to apply directly from their phones if they want to see an increase in their job applicants and submissions.

  • More Flexible Working Conditions: Contract work and temporary positions are becoming more and more popular among candidates. Even more attractive to potential new employees is the opportunity to work remotely, or work from home. Allowing candidates to work remote even just one day a week will greatly increase your submissions.

  • Leveraging A Staffing Agency: Staffing agencies have valuable industry expertise that help companies who struggle with hiring. Working with recruiters also reduces friction among hiring managers. For example, positions in fields like IT, engineering and software development have specific requirements that can be hard to understand for talent acquisition generalists who lack direct industry experience. Plus, staffing agencies close relationships that they keep with top candidates in the market can lead to a faster hiring process.

Four Tips For Your New Job! | Employ South Florida

So you just landed one of the coveted, sought after jobs in South Florida – congrats! While the job search and interview process are over, there is still work to be done in your first 90 days of employment. With many companies having a mandatory 90 day probation period (to test you out), this is your time to prove yourself, and your time to shine! Follow our four simple tips below to get you off on the right foot, from day one!

Introduce Yourself to People. Your first few months should be spent getting to know your co-workers and management team. If you want to make a great first impression, try introducing yourself at the watercooler or using the on-site facilities such as the gym to meet new people.

Be Proactive. Develop a routine from day one and offer to jump in and help anywhere you can. Your new co-workers will love to see you take initiative, and so will your new boss! Take notes when possible, and don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do. Pay attention and don’t hesitate to ask questions.

Understand Organizational Structure. Try to understand the larger picture of your organization. You should know who your team is and who you report to, but take it one step closer by researching your leadership team, and if possible, reach out to them to introduce yourself. You will be surprised, some might even entertain a lunch with “the new guy!”

Show How You Can Be Dependable. In addition to being proactive, reach out and ask where you can help – and follow that through. It will speak volumes in your first few months if you can help your team be more productive.

Applying For An Account Manager Position? Here Are Four Interview Questions To Help You Prepare | Delray Beach Jobs Hiring

Are you ready to become an Account Manager? An account manager is a person who works for a company and is responsible for the management of sales and relationships with particular customers.  They manage the relationship with the client of the account(s) they are assigned to. Account management can lead to very lucrative careers. As the “face” of your employer, you will ensure each client of yours is matched with the right products and services your company offers. Here are a few of our favorite questions to review when preparing for an account manager job interview.

1)      What is your favorite productivity tool and why? It is crucial for account managers to keep organized, and employers will want to know exactly how you do this. Be ready to list any tools you use to track clients, plan your day, manage your time, etc.

2)      What is it so important to establish long term relationships with clients and customers? If possible, use examples from your past work here to explain how you gained the trust of your clients.

3)      Describe a situation in which you were able to handle a dissatisfied client? Almost all employers will ask to see how you handle this question. They want to know how you will handle a dissatisfied client and not lose their business.

4)      If you could snap your fingers and change one thing in your personality what would it be and why? Expect an off-the-wall interview question. These are becoming more and more common, and it’s a great way for a hiring manager to get a good sense of your personality based off of how you answer.

Try to keep your social media channels up to date, posting often with relevant industry knowledge. It’s important to promote your brand and culture to show off what a successful company you are. Put yourselves in the candidates shoes – they want see a fun work environment when they research your company. It’s also great to collect testimonials, from current and past employees, or even clients you have worked with that can rave about your business. Empower your staff to brag about the great experiences they have had working at your company and let them act as your brand ambassadors. It’s important to put these testimonials on your website, or sites like Glass Door, if possible. Your business’s social media presence can help both you and your executive recruiter in South Florida find the next perfect fit.
